The My Passport comes equipped with the WD Backup Software that can be set to run automatically to your schedule. You will just need to pick the time and frequency to back up important files from your system onto your My Passport drive. This feature is available on Windows only.

The built-in 256-bit AES hard drive encryption with password protection helps you keep your digital life’s content secure. You will just need to activate the password protection feature and set your own password using the WD Discovery.
